I read both Wicked Woods and Shimmer. I enjoyed reading about the unique characters that exist among the forest. The last book, Shimmer, ended while the action was still taking place. Silver takes place immediately after the second book. I have enjoyedKailin Gow's amazing imagination that intrigues her readers to anticipate the next story line. The only disappointment with this story was that the love triangle between the brothers has not resolved and the characters are wishy washy with their emotions. Briony seems to be pretty selfish within her romance between these nice brothers. They are really annoying me but I do believe that there is a reason for the attraction for both brothers that will be figured out and put to a close in the next book.The book has revealed a few hints. Wow! These characters have some amazing patience. I would be long gone. But over all there are new secrets exposed and of course end in a manner that taunts the reader to demand more. Although the love story may drive you mad, I will definitely recommend that you follow Briony through her continued adventures in Wicked!

this book was okay. i didn't like the ending though. the beginning of the book was really good but then in the end, it got worse. im still going to read the next book though. i hope itswa better than this one because its the last book, so it better be really good!
the first book was good good plot, character, and overall story. the second book was so-so.not very good, but not horrible either. this book, the third one, was bad. it was like watching a badly acted, written, and directed movie that you just want to be over.
Ms. Gow is amazing. I love all of her books, they are page turners that always leave you wanting more. Cant wait for the 4th book. I highly recommend anything by her!! )
Silver certainly stays true to the first two books in the Wicked Woods series-not too deep, pacing issues, and a completely unrealistic love-triangle. While I enjoy the whole concept the author has come up with, the development of the characters and plotline does not seem too deep and leaves me wondering if the story is made up as it goes along. It is a good book to read if you are looking for something light and quick with twists that you don't see coming, I will give it that. My only question goes back to this-Is it a plot twist that was thought about beforehand, or just a way to keep the story going? Hopefully that will make sense to those of you who have read plenty and know what I mean about an obviously thought about plot and a plot that seems to meander book to book. I do like this book enough to read the fourth book coming out this fall and would recommend it to anyone looking for a book to read and not think much about afterwards.
I don't see how Ms. Gow does it! Another intriguing series. Werewolves, vampires, and dragons!! Lots of steam and a wonderful cast of strong female and male characters who make you care about their stories and make you want more.
